Farrell 'optimistic' of avoiding strike

GPA Chief Executive Dessie Farrell has admitted he¹s "optimistic" of avoiding a players' strike.

Farrell hinted in his recent newsletter to association members that if talks with Croke Park and Players Advisory Group officials were fruitless then strike action may be necessary.
