Tipperary senior hurling star Paul Ormonde is facing an enforced lay off from gaelic games activity having suffered a re-occurence of a groin injury which has dogged his season.

Tipperary senior hurling star Paul Ormonde is facing an enforced lay off from gaelic games activity having suffered a recurrence of a groin injury which has dogged his season.

The Loughmore/Castleiney man was forced to withdraw from his club's championship game last weekend and is now having further examination and scans to reveal whether or not he requires surgery to repair the damaged groin.
