O'Hara named Vodafone Player of the Month

Sligo's Eamon O'Hara has been named Vodafone Player of the Month for July.

The Yeats County colossus has already been pencilled in as a likely All-Star candidate this year after wins over New York, Leitrim, Tyrone and a draw with Armagh.

His latest award comes on the back of an imperious display in the fourth-round of the All-Ireland qualifying series against Tyrone at Croke Park.

Sligo were knocked out of the championship on Sunday after their replayed quarter-final tie with Armagh in Navan.
