Dublin 1-14, Donegal 1-07 - match report
The wheels came off Mickey Moran's Donegal wagon today as Dublin upped the ante in the All-Ireland quarter-final replay in front of a full house at Croke Park.
Donegal dominated possession in the opening exchanges, but Dublin still had a 0-3-to 0-0 lead after 10 minutes.
Three first-half points by man-of-the-match Ciaran Whelan, couple with a goal and two points from full-forward Ray Cosgrove saw the Dubs lead 1-06 to 0-03 at the break.
Dublin ran away with the game in the second-half as Donegal rang in midfield changes to cope with the challenge of a far fitter side.
Senan Connell and Alan Brogan added a couple of points each but the game was over long before the final whistle.
Donegal were outscored, outplayed and outclassed by a Dublin side who now meet the winners of tomorrow's replay between Armagh and Sligo in the All-Ireland semi-final.
