McDonald left out of Mayo first team

Mayo boss Pat Holmes makes two changes to his side to face Cork on Monday - but Kieran McDonald isn't one of them.

As expected All-Ireland club winner with Crossmolina, James Nallen, comes in for Alan Roche (ankle) at centre-back ahead of the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final clash.

But despite returning to the fold and coming on against Tipperary in their 0-21 to 1-14 win last Saturday night, his club-mate McDonald doesn't make the starting 15.

Gary Ruane is the only other change replacing Pat Coyne at left-corner back.
