The latest furore in the Model County surrounds top whistle blower Syl Doyle who has resigned his position.

The respected official failed to get the support of the County Disciplinary Committee after sending two players off in a club football game between Glynn-Barntown and Fethard earlier this month.

The players, one from either side, escaped punishment despite the use of video evidence.
