Galway County Championship in turmoil

The Galway County football championship is in turmoil this morning after Killerin refused to play extra time in a game against An Ceathrú Rua yesterday.

The two sides finished level at the end of 70 mins, but Killerin then refused to comply with the rules and play extra time.

They have now forfeited the game, meaning An Ceathrú Rua advance to the last eight.

A meeting will take place later this week to review the situation.
