Cork and Galway level at break
Cork 1-06, Galway 0-09 (half-time)
Cork have battled back from five points down to level matters at half-time against Galway in their All-Ireland hurling qualifier game at Semple Stadium.
Galway went into a five point to no score lead and Eugene Cloonan was causing early problems for the Cork back line.
Joe Deane grabbed Cork's first point from a free in the 15th minute and grabbed his second and Cork's first from play two minutes later.
Ben O'Connor swapped scores with Richie Murray before O'Connor landed a beauty from a sideline cut.
Eugene Cloonan and Fergal Healey added further scores before a Galway goal-keeping error gifted Joe Deane a goal to level the scores.
However, Fergal Healey got his second to take the Tribesmen into the lead, before Neil Ronan put over his first of the game to level matters at the break.
Seanie McGrath was brought on just before the interval for Eamon Collins.
