I'd prefer to be Waterford going into this game - English

Tipperary senior hurling Boss Nicky English has said that he would much prefer to be in Waterford's position going into the Munster Final than in Tipperary's one.

And he has warned his charges that Munster Finals are won on the day and not in training.

"I would much prefer to be Waterford going into this Munster Final than Tipperary. They still see this as their best chance of winning a Munster Final, and who could blame them? We are raging hot favourites and they ran us very close a few years ago without Ken McGrath who had to go off injured," he said.

"Waterford had a great spirit against Cork and that on it's own is very very hard to beat. When you take it all in it's context, this Munster Final is a massive game for us."
