Dooley unlikely to be fit for Leinster semi-final

Offaly’s hopes of reaching this year’s Leinster hurling final have suffered a setback with the news that star forward Johnny Dooley is unlikey to be fit for Sunday’s semi-final clash with Kilkenny.

Dooley is expected to miss the game due to a long-term knee injury which needed surgery earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Dublin also have a number of injury worries ahead of the other semi-final against Wexford.

Ger Ennis and David Curtin at still not fully fit after missing the victory over Meath, while Liam and Kevin Ryan are also nursing injuries and may not be fit for the game in Semple Stadium.
