Murphy names Cork team
Cork hurling manger Bertie Og Murphy has named his side for this Sunday’s Munster championship meeting with Waterford at Semple Stadium.
Eamonn Collins and Niall McCarthy will make their championship debuts in the game, with Joe Deane and Alan Browne also returning to the starting line-up.
The side shows just two changes from the team that lost to Kilkenny in the league final earlier this month, with Deane replacing Ben O’Connor and Timmy McCarthy in a centre-field for John Gardiner.
Meanwhile, Kildare manager Mick O’Dwyer has delayed naming his side for Sunday’s Leinster football clash with Louth until later this week.
O’Dwyer has a number of injury concerns ahead of the game, including Dermot Early and Glen Ryan.
