Galway have added a second-half goal in their Connacht SFC against provincial champions Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park.

Alan Kerins beat Derek Thompson but his effort was parried out by a Roscommon back - however, the linesman deemed the ball had gone over the line.

Roscommon had grabbed a lifeline through a Paul Noone goal two minutes earlier after an Alan Keane blunder gifted him with an open net.
