GAA: Limerick defeat Derry by 15 pts

Limerick ended their group stage of the Allianz National Hurling League Division 1B with a convincing win over Derry at Lavey.

Limerick were without many first team regulars for the game against bottom of the table Derry.

Goals from full-forward Brian Begley, James Butler and free-taker Mark Keane set up the Limerick side for their expected win.

Despite recent off-the-field drama in the county, the Shannonsiders won well and can now look forward to the quarter-finals of the league.
