A rip-roaring second half ended in a fitting share of the spoils.

Dublin enjoyed the advantage of a strong wind at their backs in the first half and led 0-6 to 0-2 at the interval with all their scores coming from their full forward line.

Offaly drew level within eight minutes of the second half when Kellaghan's point was followed by the only goal of the game netted by Claffey.

After that it was point for point to the end.
