Gaelic Football: Dublin team may split
Dublin's gaelic football team could be split in two if plans by the GAA Strategic Review Committee are given the go ahead.
The details of a document drawn up by the committee will be announced this morning.
According to reports, the county will be split into the teams of Dublin North and Dublin South.
While any proposal would need to be passed by the GAA congress, the plan is not expected to encounter serious opposition.
If implemented, the teams could compete in the National Football Championships.
