GAA: Three selectors appointed to intl rules

Martin Carney, Matt Connor and Peter McGinnity have been appointed selectors of the Irish international rules team for the next two years.

Martin Carney, Matt Connor and Peter McGinnity have been appointed selectors of the Irish international rules team for the next two years.

Carney is a former Donegal and Mayo footballer, Connor won an All-Ireland with Offaly in 1982 and McGinnity played with Fermanagh before moving on to manage Leitrim in the late 1990s.

The three men will assist international rules manager John O’Keefe.
