Hurling: GAA All-Stars' Argentina trip to go ahead

It was decided at Croke Park today that the GAA hurling All-Stars trip to Argentina will go ahead.

The GAA had been worried about security following riots in the South American country over mounting poverty and unemployment.

The Irish Embassy in Buenos Aires has offered safety assurances, and the GAA has now decided at a special meeting in Croke Park to press ahead with the holiday.

The All-Stars are due to leave Dublin for Argentina on January 23rd.
