Nemo Rangers had their expected victory over Fethard in today's Munster club senior football finall in Fermoy.

Nemo Rangers had their expected victory over Fethard in today's Munster club senior football final in Fermoy.

The victory was not achieved as easy as many had anticipated and Alan Cronin's sixth minute goal turned out to be the essential difference between the sides.

Fethard made life difficult enough for the renewed champions and were it not for some missed chances in the first-half, it might have been much closer at the final whistle.

However, Nemo Rangers always looked in control and defensively were very stubborn.
