GAA: Mattie Kerrigan named new Cavan manager
The Cavan county board has ended its search for a new senior football manager after selecting Meath’s 1967 All-Ireland winning centre-forward Mattie Kerrigan as the man for the job.
It is the third time Kerrigan has been considered for the position.
The former Westmeath manager is expected to appoint former manager Stephen King as part of his back-room staff.
