Galway hurling boss Noel Lane has decided not to tinker with a winning side, and has named the same fifteen players who started against Kilkenny in the semi-final for Sunday's All Ireland Hurling Final.

That means there's no place for Athenry's Brian Higgins, whose storming second half display after coming on as substitute against the Cats, convinced most onlookers he would earn a call-up. Instead Lane has stuck with Derek Hardiman at right half back, and Gregory Kennedy at right corner back.
