GAA: Tipp star hopes for reprieve

Tipperary hurling star, Brian O'Meara, resumed training with the senior squad this evening in the hope of gaining a reprieve from his automatic one match ban.

The Mullinahone player received a straight red card from Offally referee, Pat Horan, in the Guinness Hurling All-Ireland replay at Croke Park Saturday last.

O'Meara will meet with the County Board Committee on Monday evening to discuss the sending off and the aforementioned ban.

O'Meara took full part in the training session with the squad in Semple Stadium.
