Hurling: Severe doubts about Wexford's Coleman
Wexford’s left half-back Ger Coleman looks set to miss his side's All-Ireland semi-final replay with Tipperary tomorrow.
Coleman who entered the drawn game as a substitute, only to retire in the second-half with a hand injury, seems set to miss the game.
“Ger trained early in the week but the hand has caused him problems in the last twenty-four hours. While we will give him every chance he must be rated extremely doubtful at this stage” according to team Manager Tony Dempsey.
In the event of Coleman been forced out, Ken Furlong could be drafted in from the substitutes or the selectors may switch Darren Stamp back to defence where he finished the drawn game.
