One of hurling's great names of the past twenty years looks set to come out

of inter-county retirement this weekend.

Wexford manager Tony Dempsey is set to dramatically draft 1996 All-Ireland

winning captain Martin Storey into his panel for tomorrow's All-Ireland

Semi-Final clash with Tipperary at Croke Park.

Storey is to be handed the number 24 jersey, but would line out as a blood

substitute only.

The move is believed to be part of a bid to tackle Wexford's perceived lack

of point-scoring ability from play.
