GAA: McCarthy to be Waterford boss

Justin McCarthy looks set to be the new Waterford hurling manager.

At a meeting of last night's officer board, the Irish Examiner columnist was chosen along with Seamie Hannon, of Ballyduff and Colm Bonnar from Dunhill as selectors.

Their names will be put forward for ratification to a full County Board meeting next Monday.
