GAA: Galway make two changes for Cork game
Galway make two changes for Sunday’s All-Ireland Football Qualifier against
Cork at Croke Park.
Kevin Walsh slots in at midfield for his first Championship start of the
year, having come on sub in the win over Armagh.
Paul Clancy meanwhile is recalled after recovering from a long-term ankle
injury.
The men who miss out are team captain Kieran Comer and Sean Ó Domhnaill,
with the latter having a good excuse he gets married the day before.
However, Ó Domhnaill will still make it to the bench on time.
Ja Fallon takes Comer’s spot at the top of the left, with Clancy positioned
at centre-forward.
Manager John O’Mahony will be hoping the Moycullen man has the same effect
as he did last day it was super sub Clancy who scored the winning point in
a 0-13 to 0-12 triumph.
