GAA: Laffan left out for Wexford

Gary Laffan is a surprise omission from from the Wexford senior hurling team for next Sunday’s Leinster senior hurling final with Kilkenny in Croke Park.

Gary Laffan is a surprise omission from from the Wexford senior hurling team for next Sunday’s Leinster senior hurling final with Kilkenny in Croke Park.

Laffan who started at full-forward in the semi-final victory over Laois sees his place go to corner-forward Barry Goff. Introduced to the half-forward line is Enniscorthy Rapparees player Ryan Quigley which releases Rory McCarthy for Goff’s right full-forward role.

In defence Seanie Flood moves back to left full-back with Larry O’Gorman gaining his familiar left half-back position, as Declan Ruth switches to right half-back.
