The Cork County Board of the GAA today issued assurances about the safety of Pairc Ui Chaoimh as a top Garda officer declared that crush incidents last Sunday were a warning.

The comment came from Superintendent Kieran McGann and follows two minor crushing incidents at the stadium on Sunday, at half-time and after the semi-final of the Munster Hurling Championship between Limerick and Waterford.
