GAA Football: Down aims to get back in game

Down manager Pete McGrath has made a couple of changes for Saturday’s "lucky losers" tie against Armagh as he bids to get his side back into contention in the All-Ireland series.

Exciting midfielder Sean Ward has been drafted back into the side, along with Shane Mulholland, who has been rewarded for his displays in the League and as a sub in the Ulster Championship.

Brian Burns and Micheál McGill drop to the bench after starting in Down’s Ulster defeat at the hands of Cavan.

Armagh meanwhile have delayed naming their side until tonight, as Diarmuid Marsden is an injury worry - he is suffering from ankle ligament trouble.
