Limerick 1-16 1-15 Cork

Limerick took the lead form the start and only relinquished it once.
A goal from James Butler and points from Brian Begley and captain Barry Foley set the away side up.
Crucially, in the first half, two of Cork's full forward line failed to score from play.
Cork opened the second half with a goal from Alan Brown and a point from Joe Deane.
Mid way through the second half, the sides were level at 1-13 but two frees from Paul O'Brady edged Limerick into the lead and a sideline ball put over by Barry Foley gave the Shannonsiders the win.
