GAA: Dooher instrumental in Tyrone win
Antrim 1-9 Tyrone 1-14
Ulster Champions Armagh were sent crashing to their first defeat in two years by a youthful Tyrone side at Clones.
The Red hand had the perfect start with an Owen Mulligan goal inside the opening ten seconds.
Although Armagh came back strongly, led by Diarmuid Marsden and Oisin McConville, Tyrone held a 1-6 0-6 lead at half-time.
Armagh started the second-half just as Tyrone had in the first, Shane McDonnell punching a goal after 15 seconds and McConville and Mc Donnell adding points to give them a 1-8 1-6 lead.
Tyrone, with half-backs Ryan McManaman and David McCrossan playing superbly, clawed their way back.
Brian Dooher and Stephen O'Neill led the charge and Armagh were unable to live with Tyrone's rousing last ten minutes.
Peter Canavan, O'Neill and Dooher kicked points which gave Tyrone a semi-final game against either Derry or Antrim.
