GAA: Wexford SH v Kilkenny

Team Captain Daragh Ryan returns following injury for Wexford’s huge Allianz National Hurling League game with arch rivals, Kilkenny, in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny, on Sunday next.

Ryan missed out on the Derry victory as the result of a shoulder injury received in the victory over Cork. Rad Guiney loses out on Ryan’s return which leaves Manager Tony Dempsey announcing the same side which shocked the Rebel County.

However Guiney, who suffered a re-occurrence of his hamstring injury in a club league game over the weekend, is not included in substitutes although the management have left a vacancy. However they are also awaiting new on Robbie Kirwan who is involved with UCD in the Fitzgibbon Cup final replay today.

There is not such good news surrounding Martin Byrne who will be out for some time with a broken collar bone received when assisting Rathnure in a league game, but Gary Laffan is ready to resurrect his career following an injury plagued twelve months, and is in the list of substitutes.
