UCD set for hurling and football double

UCD have set themselves up for a hurling and football double this year after making it through to the Sigerson Cup Final.

They scored a four-point victory over St Mary's, Belfast this afternoon.

The Dublin college won the game at Walterstown, Co Meath by 1-12 to 0-11.

They will now face the winners of the second semi-final between UUJ and UCC in Newbridge.

UCD's hurlers are already due to face UCC in the Fitzgibbon final on Friday at Belfield.
