Kiely red sours win for Kilcormac-Killoughey

The Offaly club led by just two points after 25 minutes when Kiely was dismissed for striking Diarmuid Byrne off the ball, but the response from his teammates was decisive.
Conor Mahon won the next puckout and drove through, setting up James Gorman’s goal — and from then until the 53rd minute, Kilcormac- Killoughey outscored their opponents by 2-14 to 0-2, with David Phelan joining Kiely on the sideline after seeing red for a wild pull across Damien Kilmartin midway through the second half.
