Fitzgibbon and Sigerson Cup holders learn of opponents in opening rounds

The draws for the hurling and football third-level competitions took place at Croke Park today.

Fitzgibbon Cup holders Mary I have been drawn in a group with GMIT, DIT and IT Carlow.

In the Fitzgibbon Cup, there are four groups, with the top two in each qualifying for the quarter-finals.
