Spending will stay above €1m, says Mayo treasurer

Annual expenditure on Mayo’s various inter-county teams will never again drop below €1m, treasurer Kevin O’Toole has warned.

Mayo’s spending officially crashed through the €1m barrier for the first time in 2016 — almost doubling in fact from 2015 figures.

Mayo have reported team administration expenses of €1,632,488 — up from €880,316 last year.
