Conor O’Brien calls it a day with Tipperary

The Éire Óg Annacarty defender made his Tipp debut against Cork in the 2008 Munster SHC semi-final and was the first sub introduced during the 2010 All-Ireland final win. He was an unused substitute this summer and after 22 appearances in the blue and gold, he’s content to allow the curtain fall.
“I will greatly miss being involved with the Tipperary senior hurling panel as all involved among the players, management and backroom team are very special people,” he said.
