The Dublin manager made the serious claim having insisted Diarmuid Connolly was provoked by Ryan McHugh in picking up his first yellow card before the vice-captain was shown a second later on in the game for a high tackle on Anthony Thompson.

Eoghan O’Gara was dismissed late on for making contact with Neil McGee although replays indicated the call was a harsh one and Dublin are almost certain to appeal.
