Brian Cody: Ger Loughnane wrong to call Galway gutless

Brian Cody believes Ger Loughnane was wrong to describe Galway as a gutless team after their Leinster final defeat to Kilkenny.

The former Clare and Galway manager laid into Micheál Donoghue’s side after their second-half collapse against the All-Ireland champions last month.

“This defeat showed they are made of absolutely nothing,” wrote Loughnane in his Irish Daily Star column last month.
