Keith Cribbin hasn’t made it back in time to be involved for Kildare against Westmeath tomorrow but with his injury nightmare finally behind him, he is hoping his teammates do the business to give him a Leinster final to look forward to.

Cribbin, whose younger brother Paul is also ruled out with a patella tendon injury and clubmate Daniel Flynn with an ongoing hamstring complaint, returned to action with Johnstownbridge last month after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury last year.

There was some inevitable soreness after the initial outing that prevented him going flat out with Kildare for another fortnight but it’s all systems go now.
