Jonny Cooper unfazed at Dublin’s ‘suspect’ defence fears

Jonny Cooper has acknowledged that Dublin’s defending must improve but has rejected suggestions that the All-Ireland champions struggle under the high ball, labelling the comments “nothing new”.

Dublin leaked two goals in their Leinster quarter-final win over Laois, the first time they’ve conceded more than one in a provincial game since Meath put five past them in 2010.

In fact, they’ve only conceded more than a goal in a Championship game three times in that period, to Kerry (2013), Donegal (2014), and Fermanagh (2015).
