Kilkenny duo in race to be fit for semi-final

Brian Cody is sweating on the fitness of Richie Hogan and Michael Fennelly for Kilkenny’s Leinster semi-final clash with Dublin in three weeks’ time.

Neither lasted the full hour of Ballyhale Shamrocks’ 1-16 to 1-8 win over Danesfort in Callan on Saturday, and are concerns for the June 11 meeting.

Hogan, the 2014 Hurler of the Year, suffered a hand injury when attempting to block down county team-mate Fennelly during the first half of the club league tie.
