Clare SHC: Sixmilebridge winning streak comes to an end

Champions Sixmilebridge suffered their first Clare SHC defeat in two years when losing to Crusheen (1-14 to 0-16) at Cusack Park on Saturday evening.

A 41st minute Fergus Kennedy goal proved the decisive score in an exciting tie.

Earlier at the Ennis venue Feakle upset a fancied Cratloe 1-15 to 0-16 with Óisin Donnellan grabbing the tie’s only goal midway through the second-half.

In Shannon, Clooney/Quin defeated Inagh-Kilnamona 4-13 to 1-19. Two goals apiece from Martin Duggan and Peter Duggan saw Clooney/Quin take the spoils
