Former Galway hurling manager Anthony Cunningham has spoken of his regret at being unable to complete “unfinished business” with the Tribesmen.

Cunningham, who led the county to All-Ireland finals in 2012 and ’15, was forced to resign last autumn as manager following player unrest. Speaking on Sunday Sport on RTÉ Radio 1 yesterday, he admitted that the situation hadn’t been easy.
