Trounced by Tipp on the opening weekend of the league, Dublin responded in impressive fashion; the win over Galway backed up by this 10-point annihilation of Cork.

“I think there was big disappointment [after the Tipperary defeat]. Fellas looked at themselves in the mirror and admitted they went poorly against Tipp. It was good to see we bounced back against Galway. But it was probably more encouraging the fact we had another performance back-to-back (performance),” remarked the Dublin boss after the county’s first win over Cork since 2011.
