Goals make the difference as Kildare chalk up third win

Longford competed well but Kildare were sharper in front up front with goals in either half proving the difference. They grabbed their first goal in the 18th minute and sealed the win with a second six minutes from the end.
In the opening half and points from Diarmuid Masterson and Liam Connerton gave them a two point lead in the 17th minute. The Lilywhites replied with a goal from Eoghan O’Flaherty to go ahead for the first time.
