Kilkenny rework losing side ahead of Tipperary battle

Brian Cody has made four changes to the Kilkenny side for today’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1A clash with Tipperary in Nowlan Park (throw-in 2pm).

Having lost at home to Waterford last weekend, they have altered every line apart from the full-backs. Robert Lennon is named at centre-back in place of Kieran Joyce while Lester Ryan comes into midfield for Cillian Buckley. In the half-froward line, James Maher is number 12, while Kevin Kelly is at full-forward. Mark Kelly and Jonjo Farrell drop to the bench.

Tipperary are unchanged, as are Waterford for tonight’s trip to Páirc Uí Rinn to face Cork (7pm).
