Five players were sent off following a melee in the Cork Post Primary Schools U16A hurling county final at Fermoy yesterday.

Several team members got involved in an unsavoury incident in front of the stand 12 minutes from time — and at a juncture when St Colman’s were 2-11 to 0-6 to the good.
