Eoin Cadogan sidelined as he recovers from head knock

Eoin Cadogan will not be part of the Cork football panel for Sunday’s league fixture against Donegal as he recovers from the heavy collision with Mayo’s Lee Keegan.

The Cork full-back was substituted 51 minutes into Sunday’s contest after a shuddering head collision with the Mayo defender.

And while manager Peadar Healy said Cadogan was “fine” during his post-match assessment, protocol within the Cork ranks is such that Cadogan will be withheld from competitive action for the next fortnight.
