Having defeated UCD by six points on Thursday night, Dublin started on the front foot with Paul Ryan netting in the fourth minute after a telling incision by Ben Quinn.

Despite Ciaran Clarke and Eddie McCloskey replying with points for the visitors, Antrim struggled to contain the Dublin attack in the early stages with David Treacy and Eamonn Dillon particularly prominent for Ger Cunningham’s outfit.
