Replay crux could open Munster door for Dingle

The Kerry County Board were last night waiting to hear from the Munster Council to ascertain whether Killarney Legion or Dingle will represent the county in next Sunday’s provincial SFC semi-final against Nemo Rangers.

A rule states that a county is only allowed to nominate a club to enter the Munster competitions provided their own championship has not been completed.

Yesterday’s final, which ended in a draw, may be considered a finish to the competition and, if so, Legion would face the Cork champions. If not, Dingle will be nominated to take their place.
